Discovering ISR
It wasn't until we moved into our new home with an in-ground pool and I started looking for swim lesson options for my son that I learned about ISR. Having a pool right outside our backdoor, learning how to navigate the water was a non-negotiable. After extensive research, I was convinced that self-rescue lessons were the best fit for our family.
After years of driving over an hour 1 way for lessons, and no options for ISR in my area, I decided to take a leap of faith and bring ISR to my community. In 2025 I began my journey of making the water a safer place one child at a time and spreading information about water safety.
Life Outside The Pool
Outside of teaching, you’ll usually find me with my husband and 5 kids. My husband races sprint cars and we have a track right in our small town that we spend a lot of time at. We also have 5 kids (ages 1 - 14) that keep us very busy! Fun fact - I completed my ISR training when my twins where just 3 weeks old! Aside from ISR, family and kids, I am also a full time wedding photographer.
