INFO/FEES

Our Mission

Infant Swimming Resource’s Self-Rescue® program is designed for children 6 months to 6 years and focuses on safety, confidence, and life-saving skills. Lessons are one-on-one, 10 minutes per day, 4-5 days a week, over approximately 6 weeks. This structure allows children to learn at their own pace while keeping sessions short, safe, and focused.

Lesson Focus by Age:

  • 6 months + (Rollback to Float): Lessons teach infants to roll onto their back to float, rest, and breathe, maintaining this position until help arrives.
  • Approximately 18 months - 2.5  years (Swim-Float-Stay): Children learn to swim a short distance, roll onto their back to float, rest, and breathe until they can reach safety or help arrives. (Flipping over to continue to swim comes with age and willingness)
  • Approximately 2.5 years - 6 years (Swim-Float-Swim): Children learn the swim-float-swim sequence: swimming face down, rolling onto their back to float and breathe, then resuming swimming until they reach safety.
  • Short & Consistent: 10-minute daily sessions allow for high engagement and steady progress without fatigue.
  • 1:1 Lessons: Each child receives individual attention, ensuring lessons are tailored to their developmental needs
  • 4 Days Per Week (M-TH): ISR is a 6 week program, 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday.

*While all kids leave with the skill of the Rollback to Float, exact skillset learned within the 6 week program depends on child's age, developmental readiness, willingness & cooperation.*

Refresher Lessons - $150/week

As children grow, their strength, coordination, and cognitive skills develop. Refresher lessons help maintain Self-Rescue® skills, ensuring your child continues to be confident and competent in the water. Refreshers typically last 2-3 week and are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED every 4-6 months.

Maintenance  Lessons - $30/day

Maintenance lessons are available to already skilled students to come back once or twice a month to maintain and refine their skills in the water on a more regular basis to keep their water safety skills sharp.
